The Wrenstead H1600 Smart Solar Hub is the energy-management centre used across Wrenstead battery storage systems.
Designed for compatible residential solar and battery storage configurations, the H1600 manages solar energy input, battery charging and discharging, and controlled DC power delivery to a compatible microinverter.
App-based monitoring and manually configurable energy schedules provide additional control over supported system functions.
The H1600 is used in Wrenstead Store 1, Wrenstead Store 2 and Wrenstead Solar + Store 2.
Smart Solar & Battery Energy Management
The Wrenstead H1600 Smart Solar Hub connects compatible solar generation, battery storage and microinverter equipment within a supported energy system.
Its primary purpose is to manage energy flow between these components rather than acting as a conventional standalone AC solar inverter.
With the supported app, users can monitor available system information and configure charging or energy-delivery schedules according to their preferred operating periods.
The H1600 is an energy-management controller, not a standalone battery or AC microinverter.

What's Included with the Wrenstead H1600?
The standard Wrenstead H1600 package includes the following core equipment:
- 1 × Wrenstead H1600 Smart Solar Hub — neutral, unbranded energy-management controller for compatible solar and battery storage systems.
The H1600 is supplied in a neutral hardware configuration without external brand markings.
Connection cables, adapters and other installation accessories must be verified against the confirmed packing list for the supplied unit.

Important: The H1600 alone does not provide battery storage capacity or standalone 230V AC output. Compatible battery storage and inverter equipment may be required depending on the intended system configuration.

The 1600W DC output rating is not the same as the AC output rating of the connected microinverter.
Actual household AC output is limited by the connected compatible inverter and the applicable system configuration.

Depending on the configuration, available information can include:
- Solar photovoltaic input power
- Battery state and charging information

Flexible Charging and Energy Schedules
The H1600 supports manually configured charging and energy-delivery periods.

These functions allow supported systems to be configured around household routines and electricity plans.
The H1600 does not automatically retrieve live electricity tariffs or automatically select the cheapest tariff periods.

Compatibility depends on several factors:

Do not assume that the H1600 can replace every existing solar inverter or that one connection method is suitable for every UK home.
The H1600 is not an independent off-grid AC power supply.

- 2.048kWh total nominal battery capacity
It provides twice the nominal battery capacity of Store 1 for households requiring more energy storage.
Wrenstead Solar + Store 2 — 960W Solar + 2.048kWh
Wrenstead Solar + Store 2 includes:
- 960W solar panel capacity
- 1 × H1600 Smart Solar Hub

This package is intended for UK households starting without a suitable existing solar installation.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
