Add battery storage to your existing solar setup with Wrenstead Store 1. Designed for UK households with compatible solar equipment, this compact 1.024kWh storage kit combines an H1600 Smart Solar Hub with one heated LiFePO4 battery module.
Compact 1.024kWh Home Battery Storage
Wrenstead Store 1 is designed for UK households that already have solar panels and want to add a compact battery storage system. It provides a practical starting point for storing available solar energy and managing when stored energy is delivered through a compatible system.
The system combines a Smart Solar Hub with a 1.024kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The UK configuration includes automatic low-temperature battery heating to support charging during colder conditions.
Store 1 is a battery storage expansion kit, not a complete solar generation system. Compatibility with existing panels, inverters, microinverters and electrical connections must be confirmed before purchase.
What's Included in Wrenstead Store 1?
Each Wrenstead Store 1 kit includes the following core components:
- 1 × H1600 Smart Solar Hub — energy management controller for compatible solar and battery storage configurations.
- 1 × L1024HOT Heated LiFePO4 Battery Module — 1.024kWh battery storage with an integrated low-temperature heating function.
The Smart Solar Hub and heated battery module are supplied in neutral, unbranded hardware versions. They form part of the Wrenstead Store 1 system.
What Is Not Included?
- Solar panels
- Microinverter or additional inverter
- Solar panel mounting brackets or roof-fixing equipment
- Professional electrical installation services
- Additional battery modules beyond the single included battery
Important: Store 1 is intended for households with existing compatible solar equipment. Additional connection equipment or installation work may be required depending on the property and current setup.
Supplied connection accessories and packaging contents should be checked against the final product packing list.

Low-Temperature Battery Heating
Wrenstead Store 1 includes the heated L1024HOT battery configuration, designed to support battery charging in colder conditions.
When a suitable external charging source is connected, the battery heating system responds automatically to battery temperature.
How Low-Temperature Heating Works
- Below 5°C: The heating function activates when the applicable external charging source is available.
- Below 0°C: External input power is used to warm the battery cells before charging. Battery charging does not begin below 0°C.
- At or above 0°C: Battery charging may begin while heating continues, subject to normal charging conditions.
- At approximately 10°C: The heating function stops.
This process helps bring the battery cells into their permitted charging temperature range before charging.
Heating Power and Energy Source
The single L1024HOT battery heating system uses approximately 95W when heating is active.
Heating operates using power from a connected suitable external charging source. It does not activate independently without an available external charging supply.

Important: The -20°C discharge temperature limit is not the minimum battery charging temperature. Charging is permitted from 0°C. Below this temperature, the heating system must first warm the cells when suitable external input power is available.
App Monitoring and Flexible Scheduling
The H1600 Smart Solar Hub supports app-based system monitoring and configurable energy management schedules.

- Set different weekday and weekend schedules
- Manage supported charging and energy-delivery settings

Electricity tariff prices are not automatically retrieved by the system. Time-of-use schedules must be configured manually according to your electricity plan and household requirements.

Having solar panels installed does not automatically mean that the existing system is compatible with the H1600 Smart Solar Hub.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
